My Friend Christina . . .

For anyone that knows her, this image really captures a personality. The Painting itself was commissioned by the Old City Tobacco Company… but I bet you already guessed that one.

This is an open edition print circa 1998. If I look around I might be able to dig up one of the reproductions for you. I would prefer to paint another full size original because this one is a lot of fun for me.

Usually, I let my model have the first print, or the original itself. I say usually because this one seems to have become the exception to that rule.

I have to admit this is one of my absolute favorite paintings. I like the fact that she greets me to my studio every morning. She doesn’t talk much --but I’ve always been a sucker for diet Coke, a pretty smile and a Good Cigar.
